Marketing and Administrative Coordinator

DILIsym Services is seeking a Marketing and Administrative Coordinator for our office in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. This is a full-time role, perfect for a recent marketing graduate looking to gain corporate experience. This position will serve in a marketing function, but also as a coordinator and liaison for the office in several areas, including Administrative, HR and Accounting.

Responsibilities:

  • Social media: will be expected to help with marketing campaigns/posts including serving as creative lead in some cases
  • Support the development of social content calendars and handle daily publishing across a suite of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube)
  • Assist with community management across social channels – actively engage and respond to followers under the Digital Content Creator’s lead and brainstorm ways to increase social conversation
  • Conferences/shows: will need to help organize events and coordinate schedules and booth presence, as well as logistics
  • Liaison: will need to interface with corporate marketing group to help supply divisional content and information

Administrative / Office Managerial / Operational:

  • Performing office tasks such as preparing rooms for meetings, arranging meals, collecting mail at nearby post office, and being responsible for package acceptance
  • Meeting / calendar management – will need to help management with arranging meetings from time to time with external groups/clients; this includes helping with consortium meeting arrangement and invitations, etc. and with senior management meetings
  • Events: will be the primary onsite and offsite event coordinator, handling logistics and food arrangements and contracts
  • Building/facilities: will be required to help with procurement of some necessary office supplies (and will need to correspond with landlords regarding issues and requests
  • May need to help with expense report reconciliation
  • May need to deposit checks into local bank account and perform other light accounting duties as directed by corporate and/or local accounting
  • Will work with corporate HR to carry out some tasks requiring onsite hands, such as distribution of materials, etc.
  • May help corporate HR with other aspects of HR procedures and processes as requested.
  • May need to help with very minor IT tasks which require an onsite presence
  • May be requested to help with business development tasks from time to time

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
  • Experience with copyediting and proofreading
  • Experience in managing social media
  • Ability to produce content including blogs, videos and other social content a huge plus
  • Experience with WordPress, MailChimp, Dynamics365, a plus
  • Previous experience in event planning or other related fields, a plus
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and assist in areas across the company
