Back by popular demand—MIDD+ in Cambridge, UK!
MIDD+ is a free, two-day in-person event for modeling professionals and drug development leaders to meet for scientific presentations, hands-on training, and valuable networking opportunities.
In the three years since our last event in Cambridge, model-informed drug development (MIDD) has evolved, and many organizations are now evaluating and implementing artificial intelligence (AI) into their workflows. MIDD is at a critical tipping point, with many open questions for scientists and organizations alike:
- What skills and knowledge will scientists need to be successful in the future?
- How will researcher roles evolve?
- What does responsible, regulatory-friendly AI use entail?
- How does AI enable scientists to get more out of their mechanistic modeling?
If you and your organization are asking any of these questions, you won’t want to miss MIDD+ Cambridge.
Day 1, February 23, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM: Grow Your Skills with Hands-on Training
Build your modeling expertise with hands-on training sessions led by Simulations Plus software developers and application scientists.
Choose from four specialized training tracks:
- GastroPlus® Track: Enhance your understanding of physiologically based pharmacokinetics (PBPK) and physiologically based biopharmaceutics modeling (PBBM), drug absorption, drug-drug interactions (DDIs), and related applications. Identify practical use cases for integrating PBPK modeling and AI. (9:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
- MonolixSuite™ Track: Pharmacometric modeling is increasingly moving from doing every step yourself to working alongside AI agents. This workshop lets you experience both approaches: in MonolixSuite GUI and in Composer with Monolix AI agents. You will see what changes, what remains the same, and how agent-assisted workflows could fit into your own work. (9:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
- QSP Track: Quantitative systems pharmacology (QSP) is a notoriously difficult and time-consuming modeling discipline. Learn how AI can reduce the amount of time spent on manual tasks so you can remain focused on the science. You’ll take away new capabilities and practical knowledge from this in-person workshop. (9:30 AM – 12:30 PM)
- ADMET Predictor® Track: Get hands-on experience designing and modeling molecule behavior—both through ADMET Predictor’s robust interface and through plain language instructions provided via Composer. (1:00 – 4:00 PM)
Day 2, February 24, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM: Learn from Industry Leaders
Join us for Day 2, where industry leaders will be sharing how their teams use MIDD software to drive innovation and optimize drug development outcomes. You’ll hear about the tools and strategies that have helped them succeed, as well as how they’re preparing their teams and technology stacks for an AI-enabled future. The day will include a networking lunch, giving you the chance to connect with peers and expand your professional network.
