Encouragement from regulatory agencies to incorporate PBPK modeling, population PK/PD data analysis and TMDD modeling to help reduce R&D costs and regulatory burden has led to greater interest throughout various industries. When outlining a model-driven strategy for a development program, we are often asked by a company’s management group: what’s holding more companies back from adopting these approaches? One answer: education! There simply aren’t enough scientists trained on the use of mechanistic, physiologically-based modeling methods, which is why we designed PBPK modeling workshops and population PK data analysis courses, for both novice and experienced users, on the use of different technologies as they apply to their research functions.

Our courses will:

  • Include a combination of presentations and interactive examples, taken from actual industry experience, to illustrate how to recognize and deal with multiple interacting phenomena.
  • Give attendees a solid foundation of the theories and applications required to efficiently utilize industry-leading software tools (e.g., GastroPlus®, PKPlus™, KIWI™/NONMEM® MonolixSuite and more).
  • And, we limit class size to facilitate discussions with our expert instructors and among attendees – networking among industry, government, and academic scientists is a valuable and important part of the experience!
