This in-person workshop provides a tutorial for engagement of Thales (a cloud-based QSP modeling platform) through a new chat-based interface for S+ software packages referred to as the “S+ Composer platform”. We will introduce new agentic AI tools that accelerate end-to-end modeling workflows for QSP through S+ Composer. The 1-day session combines lectures with practical exercises to build fluency with AI-driven QSP modeling in translational and clinical modeling contexts.
The initial content of the workshop will provide a brief description of Thales but will focus primarily on its engagement via agents specially designed to facilitate QSP modeling. We will be discussing how to prompt agents for a variety of different goals, including model interrogation and exploration, addition of biological components, virtual population simulation & optimization, and analysis of results.
Practical sessions to follow in the next part of the workshop will allow participants to engage in prompting and exploration of QSP modeling tools using agentic AI, using case-based examples relevant to current needs in model-informed drug development. Users will gain first-hand experience in developing, exploring and evaluating models supported by AI, along with other common modeling workflows.
Towards the end of the workshop, we will dive deeper into practical use of the agents towards specific QSP applications. Emphasis will be placed on engaging with the Thales platform’s native support of virtual populations, ability to simultaneously optimize data spanning numerous therapeutic interventions, and utility in supporting late-phase clinical decision-making. There will also be a discussion on how to use multiple agents in concert to support MIDD workflows that span the drug development spectrum within S+ Composer.
The workshop is designed for modelers and scientists with pharmacometrics or QSP experience who want to evaluate how agentic AI can compress the iteration cycle for virtual clinical trial simulation.
