About David
David Jaworowicz serves as Pharmacokinetics, Distinguished Scientist within the Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics Solutions division at Simulations Plus. He has over 22 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with considerable expertise in developing a multitude of population pharmacokinetic and pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic models ranging from empiric to mechanistic models, including implementation and strategic use of modeling and simulation approaches to guide drug development programs.
Dr. Jaworowicz has a Bachelor’s degree in biology, a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutics, and a PhD in Epidemiology from the University at Buffalo. His doctoral research included investigation of pregnancy-related risk factors in breast cancer.
Dr.Jaworowicz has co-authored and contributed to numerous research publications and presented posters at various pharmaceutical and epidemiologic scientific meetings. He has also helped develop and serve as an instructor for introductory courses in population-based PK/PD analyses using NONMEM.
