About Saima
Saima is a Scientist I at Simulation Plus. She joined the team in 2022 after receiving her Ph.D. from the University of Florida (UF).

Saima is highly passionate about learning new skills in modeling and simulation and supports model-informed drug development. She received her bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from West Bengal University of Technology, India, and received her master’s degree in pharmacy from Birla Institute of Technology, India. After completing her M. Pharm with a specialization in pharmaceutics, she joined the Ph.D. program at the UF in the summer of 2016 where she developed a profound interest in clinical pharmacology. Her graduate work primarily involves leveraging the PBPK platform in clinical drug development, specifically food effect, DDIs, and pediatric population domain.

In her spare time, Saima enjoys cooking, stitching, and listening to music.
