About Nader
Dr. Hamzavi’s research has been focused on developing the new modeling software, RENAsym to develop multiscale Quantitative System Pharmacology/Toxicology Modeling of drug-induced acute kidney injury. He also utilizes DILIsym modeling software to help evaluate DILI risk for sponsor compounds in clinical development.

Prior to Simulations Plus, Dr. Hamzavi worked as a Postdoctoral researcher at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where he developed a computational model of tissue growth during embryonic development. Dr. Hamzavi graduated with a Ph.D. and master’s degree in applied mechanics from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Science in engineering from Shiraz University. His graduate work was focused on mathematical modeling and simulation of volumetric swelling and ionic transport in polymer gels.
