About Pallavi
Dr. Bhargava’s research has been focused on the development of the new modeling software, RENAsym. Her research involves the development of the mitochondrial dysfunction sub-model in RENAsym. She also works with the immunology team to incorporate mechanisms driven by immune-mediated drug induced kidney and liver toxicity. She also assesses the evaluation of DILI risk for several compounds utilizing the DILIsym modeling software.

Prior to Simulations Plus, Dr. Bhargava graduated with a Ph.D. in Drug Discovery and Biomedical Sciences from the Medical University of South Carolina under the supervision of Dr. Rick Schnellmann, PhD. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. Her graduate work focused on the signaling pathways of mitochondrial biogenesis as a therapeutic target for ischemia/reperfusion-induced acute kidney injury.
