Next Gen Tech for QST/QSP & PBPK Modeling

Abstract

Simulations Plus is excited to share some technical advances that have been made to two of the feature models developed by the DILIsym Services division! These advances have increased the efficiency with which simulations can be performed in DILIsym and NAFLDsym. Advances in the underlying software employed in QST and QSP models developed by DILIsym Services are providing technical improvements to DILIsym and NAFLDsym, respectively. DILIsym X is built upon a C++ foundation, providing enhanced simulation efficiency relative to previous versions. NAFLDsym v2B is built upon a foundation of Julia, also providing a substantial boost in simulation speeds. Both DILIsym X and NAFLDsym v2B employ a user-friendly graphical user interface built with Qt that enables users to readily set up, organize, and run simulations individually or in SimPops. The GUI also facilitates changes to model parameters and provides users the ability to visualize simulation results in a wide variety of meaningful ways across multiple media types.
