About Luke
Luke brings more than 25 years of experience in scientific informatics solutions. He manages Pre-Sales, Post-Sales and working in Account Management which has expanded his domain knowledge of scientific informatics and provided him the ability to maintain a successful track record. He has covered a broad range of clients including the world’s leading pharmaceutical, biotech, agricultural, chemicals, academic and government labs. Luke has extensive experience in scientific software solutions from the smaller scale deployment of point solutions like molecular modeling packages to the larger enterprise scale of ELNs, scientific workflow technologies, data content, analysis and visualization. Luke’s background also includes managing the support complexity of software integration strategies based on numerous mergers and acquisitions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage a team of highly skilled field application scientists.  Provide guidance and direction that will optimize our professionalism to the customer facing experience
  • Attend customer meetings for discovery, technical requirements, opportunity qualifications, product demonstrations as well as pilots and POCs
  • Collaborate with the sales organization to develop and execute against jointly developed strategic plans and follow a solution-selling based sales methodology with documentation
  • Provide company strategic vision regarding informatics solutions to technical audiences and executives connecting our software capabilities to their technical requirements
  • Conduct meeting dry-runs to assure sales opportunities continue to progress forward
  • Assist with interdepartmental responsibilities for responding to RFX document requirements
  • Work closely with the Services organization to assure successful delivery of informatics solutions
  • Provide regular feedback to Product Managers and Marketing on product performance and customer requirements/perceptions based on solution offerings
