About Laura
Laura joined Simulations Plus as the Instructional Designer in February 2024. She earned a Master of Education from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art from Iowa State University. Laura has over 18 years of experience as an educator and curriculum designer. Prior to joining Simulations Plus, Laura was an Adjunct Instructor at University of Minnesota Duluth where she supervised pre-licensure teachers in their student teaching field placements, across all content areas. For 16 years she taught High School art and developed original curriculum for over 18 semester and year-long courses, including AP Studio Art and STEAM Integrated Physics (*STEAM = science, technology, engineering, arts & mathematics).
