About Samuel
Dr. Duncan’s work focuses on the development and application of QSP models within the area of immuno-oncology.

Prior to joining Simulations Plus, Dr. Duncan received a bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics at Carnegie Mellon University with a minor in computational biology. He then earned a Ph.D. in mathematics at Duke University under the supervision of Dr. Michael Reed. His graduate work included systems population modeling of serotonin metabolism.  As a postdoctoral researcher at Montana State University, he worked with Dr. Tomas Gedeon on a modeling framework for gene regulatory networks.
