Feature of the week #76: Calculate EBEs for a new data set using an existing model

Software: Monolix®
Division: Lixoft

Population parameters estimation is an obligatory task and has to run before any other task. But sometimes we want to use an existing model on a new data set and the (re-)estimation of population parameters has to be skipped. For example, when a model is fitted on a dense data set and a new data set is sparse. This video explains step-by-step how to skip the SAEM optimization and use population parameters of an existing model to calculate EBEs of individuals from another data set.
