This webinar with a panel of experienced GastroPlus users aims at providing users, both new and more experienced, with tips and tricks to improve their use of GastroPlus. The panel will include GastroPlus experts from various disciplines, including Medicinal Chemistry, Biopharmaceutics, Clinical Pharmacology, and a developer of the software, and represents a combined total of over 56 years GastroPlus experience. The expert users on the panel will each provide some beginner and pro-level insights and examples. The discussion will cover preclinical and clinical use as well as considerations for best practices. Tools and tips for parameter sensitivity analysis and model calibration with in vitro solubility and dissolution data will be described. Examples will include development of a lower gut absorption model and dog to human translation on lower gut absorption settings. A method to automate repetitive GastroPlus tasks using keyboard shortcuts with mouse and keyboard recorders will be presented.
