Amazingly we now find ourselves at the beginning of a new and exciting year for modeling and simulation!

Simulations Plus continues to grow both in terms of new clients and our staff of PBPK scientists. As a matter of fact, we are actively recruiting. If you know anyone that would be interested in working with us, please let me know or have them apply directly on our careers webpage. Seasoned modelers and postdocs are welcome.

Simulations Plus MIDD+ 2022 is coming soon and we continue to invite attendees. Meet us online for this two-day conference on Wednesday, Feb. 16th & Thursday, Feb. 17th to learn about the real-world use of model-informed drug development and case studies. Tracks include Discovery, Preclinical, Clinical, and Post-approval/Generics. We’ve lined up speakers from Merck, BMS, U.S. FDA, Health Canada, MHRA, and more. Registration is free.

The Learning Services group has updated the workshop schedule for 2022. We continue to offer both complimentary and paid workshops including a first-time offering titled Physiologically Based Pharmacokinetic Modeling for FIH Predictions. Please consider attending any of the workshops. Seats go quickly so register early.

The GastroPlus 9.8.2 release download is up and running. If you missed the software release webinar, a replay is available. Also, if you hold an active license to GastroPlus and have not received a message from Citrix ShareFile inviting you to connect, please contact me or our licensing department.

Lastly, our University+ program which provides no-cost licenses to qualified academic institutions and students has been remarkably successful. Since its inception, we have issued 130 academic licenses in 31 countries!  For more information, please see our University+ webpage.

As always, let me know if you need any help to increase the use, utility, and understanding of GastroPlus. We stand ready to help! Send me a note and I will respond.

Hope to see you at MIDD+ or one of our workshops soon!
