About François

François Bouzom is currently Director of the Simulation Studies Team at Simulations Plus, where he mentors scientists and provides consulting services for the pharmaceutical industry.

He has more than 30 years of experience supporting drug development using PK modeling and simulation. Over the last 20 years, François held positions as Head of non-clinical and clinical modeling at Servier, and DMPK Director at UCB Pharma. François’ area of expertise covers drug discovery, biotransformation, bioanalysis, non-clinical safety, human PK predictions, pop PK, and PBPK modeling.

PBPK methodology attracted François’s attention 22 years ago. Since then, he continuously expands his knowledge and applications of PBPK in Model-Informed Drug Development.

François has authored over 20 publications and posters, given numerous oral presentations, and taught Pharmacokinetics and PBPK Modeling courses at several French universities.
